Terms & Conditions

  1. Making an online purchase

    Making a purchase could not be easier. Browse our products by section, price range or simply enter the product code and add the products you wish to purchase into your basket. A quick order form can also be completed. The quantity you require can be changed by viewing the product in your basket.

  2. Product Prices/Descriptions

    Prices quoted supersede all previous website prices. Every effort will be made to maintain the prices on our website. However, Leaf Education reserves the right to amend, change or cancel product prices without prior notice. Leaf Education aims to ensure that all product images and descriptions are accurate. Colours and product details may however be subject to change without prior notice.

    Leaf Education reserves the right to amend the design or size of any product, or prices within our website offering without prior notification.

  3. Value Added Tax

    All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate at the time of dispatch.

  4. New Customers /Non Account Holders

    Private individuals are required to pay for goods at the time of ordering. Private establishments may be required to pay for their first order. A new customer credit facility may be available after completing a credit check with our Customer Service team. Payment can be made using any major debit / credit card (expect American Express) through our on-line Sage Pay system.

  5. Local Education Authority Customers / Account Facility

    In order for credit facilities to be granted LEA schools and nurseries must quote their LEA authority number at the time of ordering. Where a credit facility has been agreed, payment of invoices is due strictly within 30 days. Failure to adhere to our credit terms will result in further action being taken. Further costs may then be incurred and will result in the credit facility being withdrawn.

  6. Placing Orders

    Orders can be made via our website, telephone or email. Leaf Education will not be held responsible for any duplication of orders. If it is believed that an order has been sent to us more then once in error, please inform our Customer Service team immediately. When an order is placed please ensure that correct product codes are used to guarantee that the correct items are ordered for you.

    We aim to have all items available at the point of order, however, at times of exceptionally high demand we may temporarily be out of stock for short periods of time.  We will inform you by email within 24 hours of any out of stock items ordered.

  7. Title of Goods

    The ownership of goods does not pass on to the purchaser until payment of the appropriate invoice has been received in full.

  8. Delivery - Mainland UK

    All orders placed over the total value of £150.00, excluding VAT, will be delivered free of charge. Orders with a total value of under £150.00, excluding VAT, will be subject to a £6.00 postage charge. Furniture, large play equipment etc. may incur an additional delivery charge. If this is the case you will be contacted prior to our processing of your order.

  9. Delivery - Outside Mainland UK

    Orders placed for delivery outside mainland UK will be subject to a minimum carriage charge of £15.00. Each order will be reviewed on an individual basis and if the carriage charge exceeds £15.00 you will be contacted prior to our processing of your order.

  10. Refused Delivery

    If a delivery is refused once it has left our warehouse, Leaf Education reserves the right to charge for the cost of delivery and the cost of returning the goods to our warehouse, the minimum charge is £15.00. To assist with deliveries during school holidays please indicate opening times when placing orders.

  11. Claims

    Our Customer Service team must be notified of missing, damaged or faulty products within 48 hours of receipt. A signature made against a delivery is confirmation that the goods have been received as stated on the sales invoice. Claims outside this timeframe will not be accepted. Each claim is individually investigated. If it is found that goods have been damaged in transit, the goods will be replaced. However, if the replacement is refused and cancelled by the customer, cancellation charges will apply. Please do not sign for the delivery of goods unless you have carefully examined them for damage or missing products.

    We take great care to ensure your order is picked correctly, however upon receipt of your delivery, the contents must be checked against the accompanying invoice. If anything is noted as missing, this must be reported to our Customer Service team within 48 hours of receipt of goods so we can fully investigate and find a resolution.

  12. Express Delivery

    This can be offered as an optional extra at a charge of £10.00. Opting for this will ensure goods, if in stock will be dispatched within 24 hours of us receiving your order. To qualify orders must be received before midday, if not the order will be dispatched the next working day.

  13. Back Orders

    It is our policy to deliver orders complete and carry 100% of products on our website in stock. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you, and send it to you when in stock. Our Customer Service team will advise customers by email at the time of processing orders, should this be the case.

  14. Credit Card Security

    Our website uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to protect your payment details. This creates a secure link between your browser and our server so that your details cannot be decrypted by anyone else.

    For additional security we do not store payment card details for future use. Customers are required to submit this information each time they order.

  15. Guarantee

    Manufacturers guarantee applies to all products. Each manufacturers guarantee will vary according to the product.

    Our product guarantees are limited to fair usage and must only be used for their advertised and intended purpose, if fault or damage is incurred as a result of mistreatment or the product being used for anything other than it’s intended purpose then the product guarantee is voided.

  16. Product Quality

    We pride ourselves on our extensive product range, and work extremely hard with our manufacturers to keep the costs of our products as low as possible so customers can benefit from great value products.

  17. Cancellations

    Cancellation of orders will be accepted providing the goods have not been dispatched from our warehouse. If goods have been dispatched then the returns policy will apply.

  19. Leaf Education Promotions

    All Leaf Education promotions and offers are subject to availability and while stocks last. Offers are based on one order per customer and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. The promotions are only applicable for the dates specified and cannot be changed at any time.
